Thousand Islands Targets to Achieve KLA at Nindya Level

Thousand Islands Regency is targeting to win Child-Friendly City/Regency (KLA) at Nindya level this year.

By providing complete supporting facilities, Thousand Islands is targeted to level up from Madya to Nindya this year

Thousand Islands Regency's Empowerment, Child Protection, and Population Control (PPAPP) Sub-agency Head, Hary Sutanto stated, his side made various preparations and collaborated with related parties to prepare required documents for KLA 2022.

"We will start from listing the supporting data related to KLA from all regional apparatus organizations (OPD)s through today's leadership meeting," he said, Wednesday (2/2).

Moreover, his side also had prepared child-friendly physical supporting facilities, such as playgrounds, reading parks, Child-Friendly Integrated Public Space (RPTRA), child-friendly schools, child-friendly tourist destinations, Jakarta children forum, child-friendly school transportation, and provision of child health facilities.

"By providing complete supporting facilities, Thousand Islands is targeted to level up from Madya to Nindya this year," he asserted.

For information, Thousand Islands Regency won KLA at Madya level in 2011 and this year it is targeted to level up to Nindya level," he mentioned.
